2. Website Information
Our website provides information about Guardians of the Pack, including our services, packages, pricing, philosophy, policies, and other information.
Information displayed on the website does not constitute confirmation or acceptance of a booking. Guardians of the Pack makes reasonable efforts to ensure website information is accurate and current. We may update service descriptions, availability, package offerings, pricing, policies, and other website information from time to time. If an error or discrepancy is discovered, we will address it reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
3. Booking and Service Agreements
Guardians of the Pack does not currently complete service agreements or accept payment directly through this website.
Clients who wish to proceed with a service will be provided with the applicable agreement, consent documentation, assessment materials, invoice, or other required documentation separately. A service is not considered confirmed merely because a client has viewed a service on our website or contacted Guardians of the Pack. The specific agreement applicable to the service, together with any applicable policies, will govern the client's purchase and participation in that service.
4. Payments
Guardians of the Pack currently accepts payment by electronic transfer (“e-transfer”) unless another payment method is expressly agreed upon. Payment instructions will be provided directly to clients. Clients should not send payment information, banking passwords, security answers, or other sensitive banking credentials to Guardians of the Pack. Guardians of the Pack will never require a client to disclose their online banking password in order to make an e-transfer payment.
5. Pricing and Taxes
Prices displayed on our website are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes will be charged where required by law. Prices, packages, promotions, and service offerings may change prospectively. The applicable price and terms will be confirmed as part of the client's booking, invoice, or service-agreement process.
6. Packages
Guardians of the Pack may offer multi-session packages for Training, Play, Adventure, and other eligible services. The number of sessions, package price, per-session value, eligibility requirements, and applicable conditions will be communicated to the client before purchase. Unless expressly stated otherwise: Packages must be used within six months of the first session.
Package purchases are subject to availability and do not guarantee a specific date or time. Refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, expiry, extensions, and other package matters are governed by the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy, service agreement, and rights available under applicable law.
7. Assessments and Service Suitability
Certain Guardians of the Pack services may require an assessment, intake process, consultation, or approval before a canine participates. Acceptance into one service does not automatically establish suitability for another service. Guardians of the Pack may reasonably decline, modify, suspend, or discontinue a service where necessary because of safety, canine behaviour, health, service suitability, capacity, legal or regulatory requirements, or circumstances materially affecting our ability to provide the service safely.
8. Guardian Responsibilities
Guardians are responsible for providing accurate and complete information reasonably relevant to their canine and the requested service. This may include information concerning behaviour, aggression or bite history, reactivity, medical conditions, injuries, medications, vaccination status, training history, routines, triggers, interactions with animals or people, and other information relevant to safe service delivery. Guardians must notify Guardians of the Pack of material changes that may affect a canine's participation.
9. Health and Safety
Canines participating in Guardians of the Pack services must satisfy health, vaccination, licensing, identification, and other requirements applicable to the particular service under applicable law and reasonable Guardians of the Pack safety policies. A guardian must not knowingly present a canine for service where a contagious illness or another condition creates a material safety concern.
10. Inherent Risks
Working with, training, walking, transporting, supervising, and providing activities for canines involves inherent and sometimes unpredictable risks. Despite reasonable precautions, a canine may behave unexpectedly, become injured or ill, escape, damage property, or interact adversely with another animal or person. Service-specific risks, permissions, emergency authorizations, and acknowledgements may be addressed in the applicable client agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
11. Training Results
Every canine is different. Behaviour and training outcomes can be affected by temperament, history, health, environment, consistency, guardian participation, practice, and other circumstances. Guardians of the Pack does not guarantee a specific behavioural result or guarantee that a particular result will occur within a particular number of sessions.
12. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellation, rescheduling, missed-session, late-arrival, package, and refund conditions are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy and any service-specific terms provided to the client. Nothing in our policies limits a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
13. Outdoor Services and Weather
Play, Adventure, walking, training, and other activities may occur outdoors. Where reasonably necessary for safety or canine welfare, a service may be modified, relocated, rescheduled, shortened, or cancelled because of extreme temperatures, storms, unsafe road conditions, poor air quality, government warnings, environmental hazards, or other unsafe circumstances.
14. Veterinary Emergencies
Emergency procedures and authorization for veterinary treatment, transportation, emergency contacts, and associated costs will be addressed in applicable client documentation where relevant to the service. Information provided by Guardians of the Pack does not constitute veterinary advice. Medical concerns should be discussed with a licensed veterinarian.
15. Complimentary Lifetime Training Support
Where included with an eligible training service, Guardians of the Pack provides complimentary lifetime support for reasonable training-related questions by telephone, email, or text. Complimentary support is intended to help existing Pack Members with reasonable follow-up questions. It does not replace a new assessment, additional hands-on training, veterinary care, emergency assistance, or another professional service where one is reasonably required. Reasonable limits may apply to the scope, frequency, method, and availability of complimentary support.
